From August 1st to October 31st, experience one of the most exclusive angling adventures in Western Canada with our helicopter-access (heli) fishing trips targeting vibrant golden trout in remote alpine lakes of the Canadian Rockies. Operating out of Canmore, Alberta, we’re ideally positioned for guests visiting Calgary, Canmore , Banff, and Lake Louise.

Your adventure begins with a 2-hour drive from Canmore to the helicopter departure point—an unforgettable road trip in itself. We travel along the world-famous Icefields Parkway, often considered one of the most beautiful mountain roads on the planet. Along the way, you’ll pass towering glaciers, turquoise glacier-fed lakes, ancient icefields, and dramatic peaks carved by thousands of years of ice and weather.

Pricing: Heli Access

Rate:

$1250 CAD per one or two guests; additional guests $275 CAD each, up to 5 guests max per helicopter.
Helicopter Rate: $3500 CAD + 3% transaction fee on Canadian card transactions and a 4.5% transaction fee on foreign credit cards transaction.
Deposit: $400 CAD collected at time of booking, no trips is confirmed until deposits are collected.
Cancelation Policy: If trip is canceled within 14 days of trip date the deposit is non refundable. If the trip is canceled 14 days prior to trip date the deposit is refunded with the exception of a $150 CAD admin fee.
Trips canceled within 24 hours or the morning of due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances 50% of the deposit will be refunded and $150 CAD admin/booking fee will be retained.

Before heading out on your trip with us, make sure you’re well-prepared to make the most of your day. A few essentials will ensure your comfort and success as you fish the scenic waters of Alberta.

Fishing License: Obtain your fishing license before your trip. You can purchase it online here.
WIN Card: Necessary for fishing in Alberta; purchase if you don’t already have one.
Foul Weather Gear: The weather can change quickly; a rain jacket is essential.
Warm Layers: Include a warm sweater or fleece to stay comfortable.
Hat and Sunglasses: Protect yourself from the sun and enhance your visibility.
Sunscreen: A must-have to shield your skin during long hours outdoors.

Remember, prices for fishing licenses and WIN Cards are not included in the trip cost, and these need to be arranged before your adventure. Kids 15 and under do not require a fishing license. Ensure you have everything ready to go for a seamless fishing experience.
