1. General Disclaimer

Canmore Fishing Adventures (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides guided fishing experiences and strives to ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable time. However, we do not assume any liability for illegal activities conducted by our guests. By participating in our fishing adventures, you agree to comply with all applicable provincial and federal laws and regulations.

2. Legal Compliance

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining and possessing valid fishing licenses and adhering to all fishing regulations set forth by the Province of Alberta and the Government of Canada. This includes, but is not limited to, regulations regarding fishing licenses, catch limits, protected species, and fishing methods.

3. Prohibited Activities

Canmore Fishing Adventures does not condone or tolerate any illegal activities, including but not limited to:

  • Possession of counterfeit fishing licenses.
  • Engaging in illegal fishing practices, such as exceeding catch limits or catching protected species.
  • Providing false information regarding the age of children for licensing purposes.
  • Carrying illegal items or substances on their person, in their bags, or in their possession.

4. Enforcement and Reporting

While we strive to inform guests of relevant laws and regulations, it is ultimately the responsibility of each guest to be aware of and comply with these laws. If we observe any illegal activity, we will inform the guest to cease such activity immediately. However, Canmore Fishing Adventures does not assume any liability for any illegal actions taken by guests. Any legal consequences arising from such activities are solely the responsibility of the individual(s) involved.

5. Limitation of Liability

By participating in our fishing adventures, you agree to release and hold harmless Canmore Fishing Adventures, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from any illegal actions you may engage in during your fishing experience. This includes, but is not limited to, fines, legal fees, and other penalties.

6. Deposit and Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation Due to Weather or Unforeseen Circumstances: If a trip is cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances within 72 hours of departure, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. A 3.5% processing fee is applied to credit card refunds.
  • Guest Cancellations: If guests cancel within 72 hours of the scheduled trip or do not show up, the deposit will not be refunded.

7. Acknowledgment

By booking and participating in a fishing adventure with Canmore Fishing Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer and Disclosure. You also agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations during your participation in our activities.
