About the Trip:

From July to late September embark on an extraordinary fly fishing adventure to remote Alpine lakes, accessible by helicopter. Tucked away among the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies, near Canmore, Banff, and Calgary, these hidden lakes are abundant with active cutthroat trout. Soar over breathtaking landscapes to your fishing spot. Our experienced guides from Canmore Fishing Adventures will manage all the details, equipping you with top-notch fly fishing gear to enhance your high-altitude fishing experience. What to Expect:

A breathtaking 15-minute helicopter flight from Canmore heli-port takes you and your guests over some of the most rugged terrain the region has to offer. You’ll land right beside the lake in a Bell 407 helicopter, putting you in the perfect spot to start fishing almost immediately. Heli trips lasts about 8 hours and start at 8 am, but can begin earlier or later depending on the weather forecast and visibility.

Rate:

$1000 CAD per one or two guests; additional guests $300 CAD each, up to 4-5 guests max per helicopter (depending on weight restrictions).
Helicopter Rate: $3275 CAD + 3% transaction fee on Canadian credit cards and a 4.5% transaction fee on all foreign credit card transactions.
Deposit: $400 CAD collected at time of booking. No trips are confirmed until deposits are collected. A $150 dollar admin/booking fee is retained on all cancelations.
Cancelation Policy: If trip is canceled within 14 days of trip date the deposit is non refundable. If the trip is canceled 14 days prior to trip date the deposit is refunded with the exception of a $150CAD dollar admin/booking fee.
Trips canceled within 24 hours or the morning of due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances 50% of the deposit will be refunded and $150CAD admin/booking fee will be retained.

Fishing License: Obtain your fishing license before your trip. You can purchase it online here.
WIN Card: Necessary for fishing in Alberta; purchase if you don’t already have one.
Foul Weather Gear: The weather can change quickly; a rain jacket is essential.
Warm Layers: Include a warm sweater or fleece to stay comfortable.
Hat and Sunglasses: Protect yourself from the sun and enhance your visibility.
