From early July to late September Embark on an extraordinary fly fishing adventure to remote Alpine lakes, accessible by ATV and a short hike. Tucked away among the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies, near Canmore, Banff, and Calgary, these hidden lakes are abundant with active cutthroat trout. Take an ATV ride amongst some of the most beautiful terrain followed by a refreshing hike through alpine meadows and spruce forests. Our experienced guides from Canmore Fishing Adventures will manage all the details, equipping you with top-notch fly fishing gear delicous snacks to enhance your high-altitude fishing experience. Pricing: ATV

ATV Access: July-Sept

For those up for a bit of a hike, the ATV access option could be just right. Starting with a 15-minute ATV ride in a Polaris Ranger side-by-side, we’ll head to the ridge above the lake. From there, it’s on foot only. The hike to the lake takes approximately 30 minutes, with a 45-minute return trip that climbs 700 feet back up to the ridge, offering stunning views and a rewarding outdoor adventure experience. This 8-hour adventure typically runs from 8 am to 5 pm, depending on weather. Pick-up and drop-off times can be customized upon request.

Rate: $730 USD/$985 CAD per two guests; additional guests $185 USD/$250 CAD each, up to 5 max per ATV.
Deposit: $110 USD/$150 CAD for two.
$365 USD/$500 CAD for groups.
4.5% transaction fee on all international credit card purchases. 3% transaction fee on Canadian credit cards.
A $50 dollar admin/booking fee will be retained on all cancelations.

Cancellation Policy: If a trip is cancelled by us due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstance’s and cannot be rebooked for the same calendar year the deposit will be refunded with the exception of a 3.5% processing fee on credit card refunds and a $50 booking/admin fee.
If guests cancel 14 days prior to trip date a full refund of the deposit will be issued, with the exception of a 3.5% processing fee on credit card refunds and a $50 admin/booking fee.
If guests cancel within 14 days of the trip date the deposit will not be refunded.

All guests must sign a waiver form prior to departure, ensuring safety and understanding of all parties involved.

Before heading out on your trip with us, make sure you’re well-prepared to make the most of your day. A few essentials will ensure your comfort and success as you fish the scenic waters of Alberta.

Fishing License: Obtain your fishing license before your trip. You can purchase it online here.
WIN Card: Necessary for fishing in Alberta; purchase if you don’t already have one.
Foul Weather Gear: The weather can change quickly; a rain jacket is essential.
Warm Layers: Include a warm sweater or fleece to stay comfortable.
Hat and Sunglasses: Protect yourself from the sun and enhance your visibility.
Sunscreen: A must-have to shield your skin during long hours outdoors.

Remember, prices for fishing licenses and WIN Cards are not included in the trip cost, and these need to be arranged before your adventure. Kids 15 and under do not require a fishing license. Ensure you have everything ready to go for a seamless fishing experience.
