This quintessential Canadian winter activity offers a serene getaway to the snowy Rockies, where you can fish in the crisp air or from the warmth of our heated shelters. Target Lake Trout in Spray Lakes or chase Bull Trout, Cutthroat Trout, and Rainbow Trout in the Upper and Lower Kananaskis lakes. Whether you’re an experienced ice angler or trying it for the first time, our guided trips provide everything you need for a successful day on the ice, complete with top-notch gear and expert advice from our seasoned guides.

Pricing: Ice Fishing Rates

Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lakes:

Location: 1 hour from Canmore
Duration: 7-8 hours
Rates:
- 1-2 persons: $750 CAD per day
- Additional guests $150 CAD each up to 5 more than 5 the 1-2 person rate is applied for first 1or 2 additional guests.
- A 4.5% fee on international card transactions and a 3% fee on Canadian credit cards will be applied to all card transactions.

Spray Lakes:

Location: 25 minutes from Canmore
Duration: 6-7 hours
Rates:
1-2 person: $700 CAD per day
Additional guests $150 CAD each up to 5 more than 5 the 1-2 person rate is applied for the first 1 or 2 additional guests.

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

Deposit: $150 CAD for one or two guests and $500 CAD for groups will be collected. No trips are confirmed until deposits has been recieved.
A $50 CAD dollar admin/booking fee will be retained for all cancelations.
Refunds: If we have to cancel due to extreme cold or unforeseen circumstances within 5 business days 50% of the deposit is refunded.
If guests cancel within 14 days or are no-shows, the deposit is not refunded.
For cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the trip a refund will be applied with the exception of a $50 CAD booking/admin fee.

Additional Notes:

Group Bookings: Larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice.
Waiver: All guests must sign a waiver form before participating in the trip.

Before heading out on your trip with us, make sure you’re well-prepared to make the most of your day. A few essentials will ensure your comfort and success as you fish the scenic waters of Alberta.

Fishing License: Obtain your fishing license before your trip. You can purchase it online here.
WIN Card: Necessary for fishing in Alberta; purchase if you don’t already have one.
Foul Weather Gear: The weather can change quickly; a rain jacket is essential.
Warm Layers: Include a warm sweater or fleece to stay comfortable.
Hat and Sunglasses: Protect yourself from the sun and enhance your visibility.
Sunscreen: A must-have to shield your skin during long hours outdoors.
Lunch: Pack a lunch to keep your energy up throughout the day.
Camera: Don’t forget your camera to capture the stunning scenery and your catches!

Remember, prices for fishing licenses and WIN Cards are not included in the trip cost, and these need to be arranged before your adventure. Kids 15 and under do not require a fishing license. Ensure you have everything ready to go for a seamless fishing experience.
