The lakes are a great option during the river’s spring runoff. The Lake trips provide an opportunity for anglers to target some of the largest trophy trout the area has to offer. Whether you’re fly fishing or using traditional tackle, each cast in Kananaskis Alberta’s stunning mountain lakes could be your next big catch. Our expert local guides have years of knowledge to help boost your fishing success, using the latest in livescope sonar technology ensuring a fun and memorable day out on the water.

Pricing: Kananaskis Lakes Fishing Trips

Set off for a full-day of fishng on pristine Upper or Lower Kananaskis Lakes. , where each cast into the clear waters brings potential for a trophy catch!

Full-Day Lake Trip Rates:

  • Base Rate: ($875 CAD + GST) for two guests.
  • Additional Guests: Guests can join for an additional $225 CAD each. Max three per boat.
  • A 4.5% international card transaction fee will be applied to all foreign card transactions and a 3% transaction fee will be applied to all Canadian card transactions.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

  • Deposit: A deposit $150 CAD for two people; $500 CAD for group bookings will be collected at time of booking. No trips are confirmed until deposits are collected. A non refundable booking /admin fee of $50 CAD is retained on  any cancelations.
  • Cancellation Policy
  • Trips canceled by us within 5 days do to weather or unsuitable fishing conditions 50% of the deposit is refunded. 
  •  If guests cancel 14 days prior to trip date a refund of the deposit will be issued, with the exception of a 3.5% processing fee on credit card refunds and a $50 CAD dollar booking/admin fee.
  • If guests cancel within 14 days of the trip date the deposit will not be refunded.

All guests must sign a waiver form before participating in the trip.

Before heading out on your trip with us, make sure you’re well-prepared to make the most of your day. A few essentials will ensure your comfort and success as you fish the scenic waters of Alberta.

  • Fishing License: Obtain your fishing license before your trip. You can purchase it online here.
  • WIN Card: Necessary for fishing in Alberta; purchase if you don’t already have one.
  • Foul Weather Gear: The weather can change quickly; a rain jacket is essential.
  • Warm Layers: Include a warm sweater or fleece to stay comfortable.
  • Hat and Sunglasses: Protect yourself from the sun and enhance your visibility.
  • Sunscreen: A must-have to shield your skin during long hours outdoors.
  • Lunch: Pack a lunch to keep your energy up throughout the day.
  • Camera: Don’t forget your camera to capture the stunning scenery and your catches!

Remember, prices for fishing licenses and WIN Cards are not included in the trip cost, and these need to be arranged before your adventure. Kids 15 and under do not require a fishing license. Ensure you have everything ready to go for a seamless fishing experience.
